The TGTM Journey
-
2019
After years of learning to become financially literate and months searching for the financial education content I wanted to read as a 20-something woman, I started TGTM as a space to have relevant and timely conversations about money and help others feel empowered with their finances.
-
2020
Lockdown hit and more than ever before, money became front of mind for millions of people across the planet. My blog and instagram channel started to attract financial platforms and I started freelance writing about personal finance for a number of well-known brands and publications.
-
2022
Hours of content writing, research and a financial coaching certification later, It turns out that lots of people want to level up their personal finances! TGTM grew to a fully-fledged online community. My mission became crystal-clear: to help millennial women to feel confident and in control of their money without sacrificing their social lives. Behind the scenes, I signed a book deal and started working on Money Talks.
-
2023
It turns out that lots of people want to level up their personal finances! TGTM reached new audiences and became established as a trusted voice in the personal finance space. Along with incredible work opportunities throughout the year, I became a first-time mother to a little boy in September 2023.
-
2024
My debut book, Money Talks: A Lifestyle Guide to Financial Wellbeing, was released. With insights from financial, psychology and relationship experts alongside relatable anecdotes from real people, Money Talks is the book I wish I’d been able to read when I started my financial wellbeing journey.
